Joseph Lloyd

A country chap at heart, directing funerals is something that Joseph had wanted to do for many years before joining our team in the summer of 2023. “It’s such a privilege to be able to help someone through one of the darkest time of their lives. It’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly. It’s like no job I’ve ever had before”

“I really enjoy the pastoral side of what we do. I didn’t quite realise just how much people rely on us not just for looking after the practicalities of organising a funeral but for just being someone there to talk to about how they are feeling over a cup of tea. It makes such a difference to our families and is something I personally find extremely rewarding.”

Outside of work, rugby fan Joseph lives at his family home and can often be found walking his dogs with his farming fiancée Mel. He’s also a big music fan so in the summer months, you will usually find him at a festival or two.

My Last Wishes

Over the many years of arranging and conducting funerals, what became really apparent to us is how much families and friends find the process of arranging a funeral much easier when they know what the wishes of the person were.

With this in mind, we have produced a free book for you to complete either with one of our team or in your own time. With this book, you will be able to record, in detail, all of the arrangments for your funeral service so when it’s required, your family and friends know exactly what you’d want.
