Generally, we don’t embalm anyone in our care. We believe that in many cases, the embalming procedure is unnecessary and we are confident that in most cases, we can provide an excellent level of care and attention without resorting to a procedure quite as intrusive as embalming.

Larger companies will often frame embalming as an additional service that a family must pay extra for to allow their loved one to look the very best that they can. We don’t see things quite the same. We will always do our utmost to ensure that your loved one is presented in a dignified, respectful way without suggesting that you need to pay more for the privilege. On the occasions when we do feel it is necessary, we will discuss this openly with you and allow you to make an informed decision based on the facts; we never charge extra for this service. Speak to any of our team if you want to learn more about this.
